TRAVEL

"I travel because it makes me realize how much I haven’t seen, how much I’m not going to see, and how much I still need to see" – Carew

Travel is the movement of people between distant geographical locations. Travel can be done by foot, bicycle, train, bus, boat, airplane, and so on. It exposes us to different cultures and ancient traditions. Thomas cook can be said the inventor of modern tourism as he was the founder of "Thomas cook and son", a worldwide travel agency.

According to linguists, the word travel was first used in the l4th Century. Before that ancient people considered it as a field of research. Most travels were done in the interest of warfare, diplomacy, general state-building or trade, and motivation and religious purpose. For example, Thomas cook was an English businessmanThomas Cook acquired business premises on Fleet Street, London in 1865. The office also contained a shop that sold essential travel accessories, including guidebooks, luggage, telescopes, and footwear. In 1872, he formed a partnership with his son, John Mason Andrew Cook, and renamed the travel agency Thomas Cook & Son.

In the 14th century, the Moroccan wanderer Ibn Battuta spent nearly 30 years traveling some 75,000 miles across Africa, the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia.  The title of "history’s most famous traveler" usually goes to Marco Polo, the great Venetian wayfarer who visited China in the 13th century.

Man is a traveler by nature. In the very beginning people travel for different purposes, some travel to get an education, and some for pleasure. Besides, there are some special benefits of traveling. For example, if a man stays in one place for a long time, he becomes monotonous. Traveling removes monotonous, stress and boredom so that people can broaden their outlook and refresh their minds.

Moreover, people can interact with new people, cities, cultures, traditions, environments, and history by traveling. Travelers get a scope to be educated in various fields and gain knowledge for themselves. In addition, He can give others first-hand knowledge of men and matters of other countries.

Similarly, When you are traveling, you give yourself permission to explore and experience places from a place of curiosity and wonder. You don’t dwell on the past or think too far ahead to the future. Instead, you are present with your now-moment experience. It offers us the opportunity to step outside our well-worn, self-constructed, plebian realities and provides a platform to explore and practice our ideal visions for ourselves.

"Jobs fill your pockets, adventures fill your soul."

Furthermore, Travelling opens new vistas of experience. When we go to a new place, our senses and instincts become awake. By traveling, we can learn how to handle ourselves and manage others. As traveling is a journey, there may have many obstacles in our pathway. By overcoming those interruptions we can learn to take our own decisions and learn to face adversity. This is how we can discover ourselves every day.
